Now that it's September, it's time to jump right in to Fall projects!
Every year I stock up on pumpkins from the dollar store. There are so many things you can do with them.
Here are some I transformed & shared on the blog back in 2011.
You can see that post HERE.
I can't believe I've been blogging that long!!!
This project is a little more whimsical than the book covered pumpkins from my past.
I started by painting the pumpkin with the Dixie Belle color Flamingo...
Once dry, I added painters tape around the pumpkin and painted below it with the color Mermaid Tail...
I used a small paintbrush to add a thin line of Colonel Mustard between the Flamingo and the Mermaid Tail...
Pencil erasers make perfect polka dots...
I painted on a door and a window, then glued flowers below the window to create a window box...
I glued on 2 wood slices for wheels...
I painted a craft stick, glued another wood slice onto it, and inserted it into the pumpkin...
I painted 3 toothpicks, inserted them into the pumpkin, and added a banner made by folding paper tape over twine and cutting the tape into triangles...
Finally, I took my camper and parked it at the lake...
Do you think this is how Cinderella goes camping?
