The Moroccan Beauty

I have been painting furniture for 20 plus years. And it still excites and amazes me at what paint can do to a tired, outdated piece of furniture.
For example, this cabinet...
It's probably from the 70's. It has some unique Moroccan style designs that didn't show up well before it was painted.

I painted the entire piece with chalk paint from the Dixie Belle Paint Company using the color, Fluff.
Then I used a $3 "oops" paint from Lowe's to paint the back panel, the "faux" drawer fronts, and inside the designs on the doors.
I waxed and distressed the piece and  brought her back to life!
Now the detail really shows up! The design on the doors matches the fixed part of the pull...
and, also matches the scallop at the top...

Those details went unnoticed before the paint brought them out.
Isn't she a beauty?
What a difference paint makes!!!
