Soldier Blue

I started using milk paint a few months ago
and I love the different finishes you can achieve.
This side table started off like this...

I first did a base coat of Soldier Blue from
The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company.
I didn't want a chippy finish so I added Extra Bond
in my first coat of paint.
Then I did a second coat of Soldier Blue
without the Extra Bond.
Then I added a light coat of the color Driftwood making sure that the blue still showed in some places.
I used a wet rag to remove a little more
of the Driftwood in some places.
The Soldier Blue was beautiful on its own,
but I love combining it with Driftwood!

This one might be hard to watch go!!!
