Back in October, I went with a couple of friends
to The Chapel Market in Pike Road, Alabama.
This vintage market was great!
However, we got there late in the day
and missed a lot of the really great stuff.
One of my few purchases was this set of 4 tin tiles...
I purchased the tiles from
I've held on to them trying to decide what to do with them.
Usually when I put things away until I decide what to do with them, I end up not being able to find them. Then when I run across them, I forget what I was going to do with them!!!
But, this time, I kept them in plain view!
I decided that the 6" tiles would be the perfect size
to paint on and use in Christmas decor.
I double loaded my brush with 2 shades of brown
to paint a tree trunk and branches...
I added some green...
and, finished it off with some red dots for ornaments...
I love the simplicity of the tree.
Did you go to The Chapel Market?
If you go next year, get there early!
