Another Fairy Dust Necklace

Not too long ago, I showed how I made this
For it, I used a dictionary and tore out a section
 with the word, fairy.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to make copies of that page of the dictionary so that I could make more.
Plus, I don't want to have to buy another dictionary
 just to make another necklace.

So, I got on my computer and typed out the words, fairy dust, in a few different sizes and layouts.
Then I printed them out on scrapbook paper
that had a script writing on it.

When I picked the one I liked best,
I tore it out.

I used a brown ink to age the paper.

Since I planned on rolling the paper to fit into a vial,
I inked the back, too, just in case it showed.

I also added black ink to the edges.

I rolled the paper so that it would fit inside the vial.

I put yellow glitter inside the vial,
 then slipped the paper inside.

Luckily, I remembered to save my layout in the computer so I can print out more whenever I want to make another necklace!

  2. I've made bottle necklaces for years now. In some I use vintage dictionary pages with inspirational words and in others I fill them up with glitter and add fairy charms. Love how you created a template and used the script background paper.
