Super Easy DIY Fall Banner

Burlap comes with some beautiful printed patterns.
When I saw this leaf patterned burlap at JoAnn's,
I knew it would make a great banner for Fall.

I made a template using card stock.

I used a Sharpie to trace around the card stock on the back side of the burlap. Then I cut along the lines.

I overlapped the top corners of each section of burlap and stapled them together. I put 2 staples forming an X.

I stapled a burlap ribbon to each end.

Finally, I covered the staples by using E6000
to glue orange buttons over the staples.

It doesn't get any easier than that!

  4. Love your banner, so easy and so pretty. Love the leaves on banner. Will be few days before I have money to buy the burlap at Joann's so think I'll find one of my leaf rubber stamps to put my own leaves on burlap, make the banner. Or I have lots of faux leaves I've made and some from $tree so maybe I'll use them to glue on and then glue on buttons on them. Won't be quite like yours but you've sure inspired me. Making do won't be so bad. Glad I clicked on your post. Happy Fall, love your banner.
Joann's has some great printed burlap don't they? HL has some but not like Joann's.
