Planters Punch

Did I get you with the title?
No, this is not a post about a yummy beverage.
It is a post about a fun way to serve a yummy beverage.
When the ladies came over to make Panoramic Eggs for Easter, I served a peach lemonade. I wanted a fun way to present it so I mixed up some lemonade, put it into mason jars, and iced it down in a planter.
There was a crack in the planter so I placed a stainless steel bowl down into it. It was a perfect fit.

Now I have it filled with fruit.

I found the lemonade recipe at Taste Of Home
It was delicious.

Peach Lemonade:
8 cups lemonade
2 (5 1/2 ounce each) cans peach nectar
1 cup frozen unsweetened sliced peaches
fresh mint sprigs

I a 3 quart pitcher combine lemonade and peach nectar and chill.
Right before you serve, add peaches and mint.

Enjoy!

  15. I love serving in unusual things. For one of my daughters outdoor weddings. I served the salads in clay pots and had new garden shovels to dish is out with. I got more comments about that than anything else. The punch bowl planter is a great idea! Thanks for sharing it and the yummy recipe with SYC.
