Cashing In

For Mother's Day,
my son, John, promised to help me make "stuff."

So, while he was home from college for the summer,
I cashed in on quite a few projects!

I needed a display piece for my space at
Earth Mama's General Store for some bags that were coming in.

Using fence pickets, he made me this...



Here it is at the store...


And, here it is with the bags...
 It's perfect!

    What a great display counter - your purses look fantastic on it - and love the other pieces as well - but that suitcase table melts my heart - it's just fabulous!!!

  3. What a great Mother's Day gift...the gift of time! I love that display and am pinning it for inspiration! I wish I hadn't passed up the last kerosene stove I saw...never thought to make a table out of it!

  14. Oh no, hang on to him as long as you can. Such a great helper! Love all of the projects he has helped you with. My sis just brought up a kerosene heater like that. Thinking I should make a table for my basement family room. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
