The Blooming Table

My friend, Vicky, recently had her back porch covered. There was a table she'd had for years that she wanted to use on her new porch and she asked me for some advice on how to paint it.

She was having a birthday around that same time, so I asked if I could paint the table for her as a birthday present. Luckily, Vicky is an "anything goes" kind of girl so I got to have a little fun with this one!
I painted the table with the color Dropcloth from The Dixie Belle Paint Company...
Vicky has some funky orange furniture on her porch which thrilled me since orange is my favorite color. Outdoor spaces are the perfect place to add a little whimsy to your decor! I used the color Florida Orange, also from Dixie Belle, along with a yellow and a brown acrylic paint, to paint a flower on the table...
I didn't just paint the flower on top. I painted petals coming down the side of the table too. Then I added a stem to the flower. I painted one leg of the table with Holy Guacamole from Dixie Belle...
Happy Birthday Vicky...
here's your blooming table!
